These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the vuduo2 mobile application (the "App") provided by Andrew Birch ("we," "us," "our," or "the Author"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("You") and us. You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under these Terms. The definitions apply to these words regardless of their singular or plural form.
The App requires a monthly subscription to access its full features. Subscriptions are handled through the Apple App Store or TestFlight distribution platform.
Forms of Payment: Payments are processed through your Apple ID account associated with the App Store.
Subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis and automatically renew unless canceled. The subscription fee is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
Fee Changes: We may change the subscription fee upon notice to you. Any fee change will apply to the next billing cycle following the notice.
Free Trials: If offered, free trials will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial period ends.
Refunds: Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
All billing and transaction processes are handled by Apple and are governed by Apple's terms and conditions. If you have any payment-related issues, contact Apple directly.
Your use of the App is conditioned on your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable subscription fees. We grant You a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the App on a Device You own or control, as permitted by applicable laws and the terms of any app distribution platform (e.g., TestFlight or App Store).

The App and all intellectual property rights therein remain the exclusive property of the Author. You acknowledge that the Author retains all rights, title, and interest in the App.
The Author reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to You.
The Author may from time to time provide updates or improvements to the App, which may be subject to these Terms. You are not entitled to any specific updates.
The Author provides no warranty for maintenance or support. Any support is at the Author's discretion.
The App may enable access to third-party services (e.g., Enigma2 STBs via OpenWebIf). The Author is not responsible for such services, and You use them at Your own risk.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. The Author may terminate these Terms at any time, including for non-payment of subscription fees. Upon termination, You must cease use and delete the App.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Author harmless from any claims arising from Your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the use of the App. The Author's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by You for the App in the preceding 12 months.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Vuduo2 incorporates MobileVLCKit (the iOS framework for libVLC), which is used for internal media playback. MobileVLCKit is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later (LGPLv2.1+). This allows the App to dynamically link to the library while keeping the rest of the App proprietary.

Source Code Availability: The source code for MobileVLCKit is available from the official VideoLAN repository: https://code.videolan.org/videolan/VLCKit. If You require the specific version bundled with Vuduo2, contact the Author for details.
Compliance Note: Vuduo2 complies with LGPL requirements by dynamically linking to MobileVLCKit, allowing You to replace the library binary if desired. No modifications have been made to MobileVLCKit in this release.
