End-User License Agreement ("Agreement")

Please read this End-User License Agreement carefully before downloading or using Vuduo2.

Interpretation and Definitions

Acknowledgment

By downloading, installing, or using Vuduo2, You agree to be bound by this Agreement. If You do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Application.

The Application is licensed, not sold, to You by the Author for use strictly per this Agreement.

License

Intellectual Property

The Application and all intellectual property rights therein remain the exclusive property of the Author. You acknowledge that the Author retains all rights, title, and interest in the Application.

Modifications to the Application

The Author reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to You.

Updates to the Application

The Author may from time to time provide updates or improvements to the Application, which may be subject to this Agreement. You are not entitled to any specific updates.

Maintenance and Support

The Author provides no warranty for maintenance or support. Any support is at the Author's discretion.

Third-Party Services

The Application may enable access to third-party services (e.g., Enigma2 STBs via OpenWebIf). The Author is not responsible for such services, and You use them at Your own risk.

Term and Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. The Author may terminate this Agreement at any time. Upon termination, You must cease use and delete the Application.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Author harmless from any claims arising from Your use of the Application or violation of this Agreement.

No Warranties

The Application is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from the use of the Application. The Author's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by You for the Application (if any).

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to This Agreement

The Author may update this Agreement at any time. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance.

Third-Party Licenses

MobileVLCKit

Vuduo2 incorporates MobileVLCKit (the iOS framework for libVLC), which is used for internal media playback. MobileVLCKit is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later (LGPLv2.1+). This allows the Application to dynamically link to the library while keeping the rest of the Application proprietary.

This product uses software developed by the VideoLAN project (http://www.videolan.org/).

Under LGPLv2.1, You are permitted to use, modify, and distribute MobileVLCKit, provided that:

Compliance Note:

Vuduo2 complies with LGPL requirements by dynamically linking to MobileVLCKit, allowing You to replace the library binary if desired. No modifications have been made to MobileVLCKit in this release.
